While in law school, Mr. Bergman had the unique opportunity to participate in a civil rights litigation clinic where, under the guidance of a professor, he assisted in the litigation and representation of the clinic’s clients. New York Magazine’s Top Verdicts & Settlements and Personal Injury Litigators recognized him as a top litigator achieving one of the 25 highest settlements in New York State in as a result of a $3 million settlement he won for a client.
Mr. Bergman’s litigation and negotiation skills are second only to his compassion and dedication to his clients. Recognizing the importance of maintaining close contact with his clients, he spends much of his day meeting in face-to-face meetings. He listens, advises and tries to ensure that his clients understand the law and that he understands how their lives have been affected by their injuries. He prides himself on the fact that he and his partners have established a respected reputation with both insurance companies and defense lawyers and that the firm is well known for their “fight to the end” focus on ensuring justice for its clients.
